Crafts By The Bunny

About Crafts by the Bunny
Crafts by the Bunny is the creative work of Shai Davenport, a Corpus Christi multimedia artist whose art brings color, texture, imagination, and personal storytelling together.
Working across beading, acrylic painting, collage, and other forms of creative expression, Shai creates pieces that invite people to look closer, feel more deeply, and find meaning in the details.
Shai was the first featured local artist in Raps & Apps’ Arts for At-Risk Youth program at Corpus Christi Medical Center at Bay View. During her visit, she shared her artwork and creative journey with young female patients, helping create a space where art could be experienced as an outlet for expression, connection, and possibility.
Her participation reflects what the program is built to do: connect young people with real artists, real stories, and creative role models who show that imagination can become a source of strength.

Arts for At-Risk Youth
Arts for At-Risk Youth is a Raps & Apps program that brings local female artists into direct connection with young female patients at Corpus Christi Medical Center at Bay View.
Through storytelling, artistic demonstration, and hands-on creative experiences, the program shows young women that art can be a powerful outlet for healing, self-expression, and hope.
