✨ Turn Your Music Into a Movement

The Golden Mic is a launchpad for local musicians. We’re looking for 15 passionate musicians in the Coastal Bend who are interested in promoting their original music.

If selected, you’ll receive:

  • 🎶 Professional studio time to record a new song
  • 🎥 A full music video shoot with a local film team
  • 🎤 Live performance opportunities at major venues

  • 🚀 Promotion across our media platforms and partner networks

This program is 100% free to artists and funded by a generous $20,000 grant from the Coastal Bend Community Foundation which means your community is investing in YOU.

🎯 Who Should Apply?

  • Solo artists, bands, and singer/songwriters

  • Ages 18–64, living in Corpus Christi or surrounding counties

  • Any genre: Hip-hop, R&B, rock, pop, country, electronic, Latin, gospel — all styles are welcome

  • Artists who are serious about taking their music career to the next level
